Purpose: KHOM'S LOCKDOWN KHOMPETITION, Week 6.

During Week 6 of KHOM’S LOCKDOWN KHOMPETITON, Luna Palmer from Haus of Friele in Bergen,
was assigned the 70's and decided to do a tribute to Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills (1977-1980).

For the shortfilm Joakim Eide (film & editing) and Isak Bradley (film assistant)
worked with Luna Palmer to recreating some of the stills with
the Drag Khompetitons song of choice “Time is Up” by Poppy.

Luna Palmer describes Untitled Film Stills as:
“iconic piece of art, and especially important as a feminist piece in an era with a large feminist awakening. Sherman transformed her appearance into different archetypes of women - bombshells, housewives, femme fatales. The compositions of the photos were inspired by the film language in b-movies, film noir and european arthaus movies, and appear to tell a story, without really doing so. They also sometimes appear voyeuristic, like she is not aware she is being watched, even though she definetely is.”
